Thanks for visiting my website. Most of my friends and colleagues have no idea I'm a singer. What they don't know is that I have an illustrious career that spans all the way back to 1976 when I was with The MiniSingers The MiniSingers at Leachville Elementary in Arkansas. Soon after that, I sang a tune for our Governor Governor Clinton who, as you may know, went on to be rather famous himself. How's that for a big career break! I performed all sorts of show tunes for Ladies' Garden Clubs Ladies' Garden Club and then competed at State Fairs State Fair Competition State Fair Competition 2 when I got older. My big debut with a rock star was in 1991 at Georgetown University Georgetown rock debut when I sang with a guitarist named Matt Scannell, who is now the lead singer of Vertical Horizon. Vertical Horizon I figure as long as I've sung with people who eventually became famous, I must be good! In fact, when I performed for friends and family last year in celebration of my 35th birthday, my friend Stan Matthews of C&E Systems fame proclaimed, "Thank God you are good. Your friends were so worried we'd have to be embarassed for you."

My first public performance in Portland was the Concert for Oregon's Wetlands Concert for Oregon's Wetlandson May 12, 2005 at the Doug Fir Lounge Doug Fir. I shared the stage with three great bands — Maggie's Choice Maggie's Choice, The Retrofits The Retrofits and Howling Trout Howling Trout. Check out my sidebar on the right for my upcoming shows.

I love to cover all sorts of tunes—alt country, pop, folk, jazz, and blues. My love for a wide variety of musical styles is similar to my love of Oregon's diverse people and natural environments—we need them all to make a complete whole.
